Since July 2006, Fr. Simon has been serving as Pastor of St. Lambert Parish in Skokie. Illinois with Fr. Ronald S. Plomillo as his Associate Pastor and Deacon Chick O'Leary as his sidekick.

Since September 2006, Fr. Simon has written a weekly article under the pen name "Rev. Know-It-All" in which he answers questions from readers about God, religion and the Roman Catholic Church.

Since December 2007, most of Fr. Simon's homilies from Sunday Mass are available now online as "The Stairway To Heaven" series of sermons in video format as well as full transcripts in text format.

Since the fall of 2006, Fr. Simon has frequently appeared as a guest expert on the Relevant Radio Network and these are now online as the "Relevant Topics" series of Q&A interviews.
